One minute is sufficient to saute garlic in butter in a medium saucepan. Then, incorporate the flour into the mixture.
Gradually add the chicken broth into the pot. Once thoroughly combined, stir in the tomatoes, paprika, garlic salt, and basil.
Cook the mixture for approximately 2 minutes, or until it has thickened.
The soup should be pureed using a blender until the desirable consistency is achieved. This must be accomplished in segments.
In a serving basin, combine the pureed soup and heavy cream. To season, combine pepper and salt. Fresh basil and cream are used to garnish.
