RECIPE FOR PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST STICKS

INGREDIENTS

1 baguette brioche or French bread, sliced to a thickness of 1 inch, is then divided in thirds. Four quart eggs (3)-cups of milk 1/2 cup pureed pumpkin 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon spice for pumpkin pie One-fourth cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

STEP-1

In a large nonstick skillet preheated to medium heat, melt a small quantity of butter.

INSTRUCTION

STEP-2

Whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin  vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice in a small rectangular baking dish.

STEP-3

After dipping the bread in the mixture and reversing it, set it on the hot skillet. Allow each side to cook for approximately 2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step-4

Meanwhile, combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small rectangular baking dish set aside.

Step-5

Immediately after removing the french toast sticks from the skillet once they are thoroughly cooked, coat them in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve warm, accompanied by buttered pecan nectar or maple syrup.
