1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour sifted ▢1/2 tsp baking soda ▢1 tsp salt ▢1/4 tsp ground nutmeg ▢1 tsp cinnamon ▢3/4 cup shortening ▢1/2 cup sugar ▢1/2 cup brown sugar ▢1 egg ▢1 cup mashed bananas about 3 medium bananas ▢1 3/4 cup quick cooking oats ▢1 tsp vanilla extract


Step - 1

Preheating the oven to 350 degrees  

In a medium basin, combine flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon by sifting.

Cream together shortening and sugars in a mixer until the mixture is light and airy. Mix together the egg, banana, oatmeal, and vanilla.

Mix in the dry ingredients until combined. Transfer to a baking sheet. Cook for nine to twelve minutes, or until the margins begin to brown.
