7 cups water ▢1 cup long-grain white rice ▢2 cinnamon sticks ▢1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk ▢1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk ▢1 cup whole milk ▢ground cinnamon for topping

Step - 1

In a large saucepan, combine water, rice, and cinnamon stalks over medium-high heat. Cover and bring to a boil for sixteen to eighteen minutes.

After removing the cinnamon sticks and draining any residual liquid, return the rice to the pan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and whole milk.

Step - 2

Reduce the heat to low and cook, whisking constantly, for about 20 minutes. As the milk thickens, it is critical to agitate continuously to prevent it from burning.

Step - 3

Sprinkle rice into serving plates before garnishing with cinnamon. Keep toasty.
